Enjoy the comfort of this French Artisan Bakery, nestled in the ancient town of Flavigny sur Ozerain where the film Chocolat was made with Johnny Depp and Juiliette Binoche.

Famous for the Anis sweet that is also produced in Flavigny. This ancient village dating back to 52BC is a treasure trove for historians.

The origional building was once a Cafe Bar, where the owner spun many a good yarn and the villagers still tell the stories of the shinanigans of times past

In the centre of a historical village dating back to 52BC, Flavigny is perched on top of a fortified medieval site . with magnificent views, a rich history, exsillerating walks and local artisan buisnesses, places to eat and very friendly locals.

Finding the Bakery

Arrive in the village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain

We are near the Anis sweet shop

There is a big blue sign with Fournil de Flavigny on it.

You can park and unload luggage.

Then you must go to the main free car park

Walk back into the village. it is a 2 minute walk
